Если вы хоть раз бывали на фестивале «Саянское кольцо», то наверняка название группы «Аллегория» вам знакомо. Выступления этих ребят из Минусинска, играющих этно-рок, сразу «цепляют». Среди них мало профессиональных музыкантов, но назвать их уровень любительским язык не поворачивается - очень уж красивые и сложные аранжировки они делают, экспериментируют с различными инструментами, музыкальными размерами и т.д. Однажды обратившись к славянским корням, они вдохнули новую жизнь в напевы наших далеких пращуров, придали им современное звучание. 28 мая на официальном сайте Международного фестиваля этнической музыки «Саянское кольцо» были оглашены коллективы, претендующие на премию Сибири «Золотая Ирия» 2009 года. Приятно, что в числе 20 номинантов есть коллективы из Хакасии и юга Красноярского края – это абаканский фольклорный ансамбль «Звоны» (под управлением Геннадия Лашкина), молодая этно-рок-группа «Теленгит» (о которой совсем недавно писал «Шанс»), выступающая, правда, за Республику Алтай, и небезызвестный минусинский коллектив «Аллегория», получивший «Золотую Ирию» еще в 2007 году. A djembe (pronounced /ˈdʒɛmbeɪ/ JEM-bay) also known as djimbe, jenbe, jymbe, jembe, yembe, or jimbay, or sanbanyi in Susu; is a skin covered hand drum, shaped like a large goblet, and meant to be played with bare hands. According to the Bamana people in Mali, the name of the djembe comes directly from the saying "Anke dje, anke be" which literally translates to "everyone gather together", and defines the drum's purpose. "Dje" is the verb for "gather" in Bamanakan, and "be" translates as "everyone" in Bamanakan.

The conga is a tall, narrow, single-headed Cuban drum of African origin, probably derived from the Congolese Makuta drums or Sikulu drums commonly played in Mbanza Ngungu, Congo. A person who plays conga is called a "conguero". Although ultimately derived from African drums made from hollowed logs, the Cuban conga is staved, like a barrel. These drums were probably made from salvaged barrels originally. They were used both in Afro-Caribbean religious music and as the principal instrument in Rumba. Bongo drums or bongos are a Latin-American percussion instrument consisting of a pair of single-headed, open-ended drums attached to each other. The didjeridoo (didjeridu, didgeridoo, didge; the original name «yidaki») is a wind instrument of the Aborigines of northern Australia. It is sometimes described as a natural wooden trumpet or "drone pipe". Musicologists classify it as an aerophone. The instrument is traditionally made from living Eucalyptus trees, which have had their interiors hollowed out by termites. Contrary to popular belief, logs are not stuck into termite mounds for the termites to do the hollowing. Crafters would find suitable trees by knocking on the bark to see if it was hollow.
